We live in a media revolution period that cannot be comparing with former media forms. Former media forms cannot help us to make group forming. If 15 people come together they can form 105 connections. Comparing with past times, now we can do everything faster than before the power of collectivity. In this book, Clay Shirky insists that group coordination can be pressed into service for political means, because the freedom to act in a group is inherently political(187). Although increase on various forms of freedom in new media culture may cause the social problems, we have to pursue the value of freedom because freedom is the right thing to want for society.
